With a passion for inclusive education and over a decade of experience as an educator in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Lane County, Dr. Annie Draeger (she/her) has dedicated her career to advocating for and empowering students with diverse learning needs. As a Research Associate with Cultivate, she collaborates closely with school districts to implement high-leverage, evidence-based practices aimed at enhancing the support provided by educational assistants.

Dr. Draeger's research interests revolve around nurturing support systems for both pre-service teachers and assistants, recognizing the pivotal role they play in shaping the educational landscape for students of all abilities.

Beyond academia, Annie finds joy in outdoor adventures with her husband and kids. Whether taking the camper to the coast, hiking through Bend, or soaking in the serene beauty of the forest, Annie treasures the moments spent exploring our beautiful state with her family!
