This month, we’re celebrating a pretty special milestone: Simone Piper has been part of CSAW for 10 years!
Over the past decade, Simone has helped shape nearly every dimension of CSAW’s research and evaluation work—from the Oregon Child Abuse Prevalence Study (OCAPS) and statewide prevention efforts to research partnerships focused on youth voice, protective factors, and community-informed prevention.
But Simone’s impact goes well beyond the studies, reports, presentations, and publications she has helped produce. She brings curiosity, care, rigor, and a deep respect for the knowledge of youth, survivors, community partners, and colleagues to everything she does.
The University of Oregon College of Education recently shared a feature celebrating Simone’s decade of leadership, scholarship, and commitment to preventing child abuse and strengthening the conditions that help children and youth thrive.
We’re incredibly grateful for Simone—and very glad she’s on our team.
