Myrihe Rohbock

Myrihe (she/her) graduated with a BS in Neuroscience from the University of Oregon in 2024 and is currently pursuing her MS in Prevention Science at the University of Oregon. As a McNair Scholar, she investigated the relationship between parent pain catastrophizing, discrimination, and child mental health among Black families. Her research interests include childhood trauma and its impact on development and gene-environment interplay among adolescents. With her background in neuroscience and current studies in prevention science, she aims to eventually inform and create services and interventions for underrepresented communities, specifically indigenous adolescents.

When Myrihe isn't working she can be found enjoying a good book or tv show at home, spending time with her wiener dog Benny, or hanging out with her friends and family.
