Prevent Child Abuse America logo

CSAW’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) has been hard at work this summer! In addition to designing their own initiative exploring the intersection of mental health and child maltreatment prevention, YAC members created a video highlighting the power of youth voice in violence prevention. Through peer-to-peer interviews, members shared their experiences contributing youth perspective to this important work.

The video was featured in August at the Prevent Child Abuse America Conference during CSAW’s presentation, Transforming the Narrative: Youth-Led Solutions to Prevent Child Maltreatment in Lane County, Oregon.

A special shout-out goes to YAC member Nathan Wooley for editing and producing the video—thank you for helping bring youth voice to the forefront!
