Leah Paris

Leah Paris (she/her/hers) Volunteer Student Research Assistant is a rising Junior from Beaverton, OR, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family and Human Services with a minor in Business Administration at the Clark Honors College. Her research interests include sexual education, sexual violence prevention, policy and curriculum planning, human relationships and intimacy, and advocacy work. 

Leah currently works at Provisions 13 as a barista and has an internship with Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS) of Lane County. Her future career goals are to be a marriage counselor that specializes in sex therapy. In the winter, spring and in academic year 2026-27, she’ll be doing Independent Study research courses as part of her Honor’s Thesis. Leah will be working with the Oregon Child Abuse Prevalence Study (OCAPS) team to enhance her thesis project regarding improvements to current sexual education curricula. 

In her free time Leah loves to hang out with her girlfriend, Sofia, as well as all her friends at UO. She loves thrifting, concerts, saying hi to every single dog she sees, listening to true crime podcasts, and getting new tattoos!
